Nature, animals and human beings are the main subjects in Dionne’s artistic practice. Inspired by the environment that surrounds her, she creates landscapes that contrast dream and reality. She mixes colors and textures in a unique way that makes us escape in different worlds. The landscapes in her art tell us many stories, but also reveal our own. Her work resembles the nomad lifestyle: it makes us travel inside the image and inside ourselves.

She has a bachelor’s degree in Art from UQO and a certificate in Graphic Art from Studio Salette in Montreal. She is also an illustrator from many years and teaches art since 2004.
Diane Fontaine is born in Montreal. In 1965.
The artist participated in symposiums and many collective and solo shows across North America and in Europe.
Her work is found in many private and corporate collections in Canada, United States and in Europe.
She merited numerous prize such as Prix du jury Thématique, Traces Arts visuels l’Ange-Gardien in 2019 and Prix Spotlight artist in Art Expo in New York.
