Artistic approach

With a background in science and the arts, Bélanger has translated his academic knowledge into a unique artistic style. In his work, the depicted morphological elements of nature are represented in nuanced colors and textures for the purpose of inviting viewers to explore the fabric of our universe.
In a manner yet unsurpassed, the artist’s work lends a profound appreciation for the beauty of the present moment and for the small details which give our lives both character as well as meaning.

Though initially enrolled in the neurobiology program at McGill University, François Bélanger later changed majors and graduated with a degree in Fine Arts.
