Tessier’s ultimate goal is to create optical illusions and hypnotic effects which draw viewers into his work. To this end, the artist employs a variety of implements and technologies to create elaborate patterns replete with vibrant colours. This gives his pieces an overall sense of spontaneity, rhythm, as well as an abstract flare.

Luc Tessier is a musician, photographer, and foremost a self-taught artist. Despite having worked with several mediums, he has been devoted to painting since 2011.
Born in 1960 in Drummondville.
The artist is represented in several professional galleries in Quebec. He also has several solo and group exhibitions to his credit in Quebec, Ontario, Alberta, the United States, and South Korea.
Luc Tessier’s work can be found in private collections throughout North America and public collections such as the Longueuil City Office.
